Welcome to the Game Scoring App!
Follow these steps to get started:
1. Add Games
~ Tap the Add Game button, choose a name for your game, set the rules, and save your game (Scrabble, Last Card, Gin Rummy, Yahtzee, Cribbage, Boggle, Golf scores, Whist, etc.)
Game rules include:
~ Highest Score Wins
~ Lowest Score Wins
~ Reach a Target: Specify a target score where the player wins or loses upon reaching it.
~ 1 to Max: A variation of Contract Whist, where each round increases by one card up to the max (e.g., 52 cards ÷ number of players). Players bid on tricks, and scoring is as follows:
Correct Bid: 10 points + tricks bid.
Incorrect Bid: Minus the difference between bid and actual tricks won.
Trump suit is displayed (or "X" for no trumps).
~ 1 to Max and Back: As above, but after reaching the max, rounds descend back to one card.
~ Yahtzee: Includes a score sheet for standard Yahtzee. Best for up to four players due to screen size.
2. Add Players
~ Use the Add Player button to enter player names. Short names work best (e.g., first names).
3. Select Game and Players
~ Tap on a game to select it.
~ Then, tap player names in the order they will take turns.
~ Tap Start the Game
Each game type has simple, intuitive controls for navigation and scoring.
